Responsibility

Integrity

At Harmoni, we are dedicated to curating pieces that uphold the highest standards of quality and integrity. Each piece is selected for its enduring craftsmanship and timeless design. Our trusted relationships with generational dealers ensure that every item meets our criteria for authenticity and excellence.

Timelessness

Our collection is for those who seek to celebrate their unique style with pieces that transcend trends. Each item is chosen for its ability to command attention and become a cherished part of your personal narrative, offering a blend of history and beauty that never fades. These pieces are not just accessories but prime for future heirlooms, destined to be treasured for generations.

Sustainability

Responsibility is not just a guiding principle; it’s at the core of why we exist. Choosing vintage and antique jewellery not only preserves and celebrates narratives from the past but also reduces the demand for new mining and production. While lab-grown diamonds have gained popularity, their creation process can be energy-intensive, involving high temperatures and pressures that often rely on non-renewable energy sources. We steer away from costume or plated jewellery because they lack the durability and lasting value of genuine gold. Though more affordable, these pieces require special care to avoid damage and are likely to fade and tarnish over time, with a high chance of ending up in landfil. Our collection is a testament to a philosophy that transcends time, seamlessly blending the charm of the past, the mindfulness of the present, and paving the way for a more thoughtful future.

Packaging

Everything we do at Harmoni is intentional so when we were introduced to Ray at Chowa NYC, we knew very quickly it was the right fit. Choosing to source our boxes from Chowa reflects a shared ethos of sustainability and heritage. Rooted in centuries-old Japanese craftsmanship, each Chowa Box is a testament to mindful design and timeless beauty, resonating deeply with Harmoni’s ethos of preserving and celebrating vintage gold pieces with rich histories.

Chowa Boxes are handcrafted in the traditional Kiri-Bako style, a wooden box-making practice with over 300 years of history in Japan. Made in partnership with Akebono Kougei, a third-generation Kiri-Bako box manufacturer from Fukuyama, Japan, these boxes have long been cherished for storing precious items such as ancient ceramic equipment for tea ceremonies.

Crafted entirely from Kiri: Paulownia, a fast-growing tree that belongs to the grass family, Paulownia forests absorb 11 times more CO2 than mixed forests.
