There are Albert chains, and then there are Albert chains. This one is the latter - heavy, perfectly proportioned and in 18ct gold - very rare as most of this weight have sadly been melted.
Originating from the Commonwealth circa 1940s, every link is stamped in 18ct gold (bar one, from a period repair - a detail that only adds to her history). The floating T-bar and double dog clips are original and fully functional.
